February 11, 2010 the Global Cocoa Project held its launch party at Hudson Terrace. Packed on two floors with hundreds of chocolate and wine lovers, we were able to introduce everyone to our incredibly delicious fair trade, organic chocolate partners Madécasse, Kallari and Gnosis Chocolate.
With the money we earned from the event, we were able to complete our first basic website and hire Albert Kouassi Konan, our Côte d’Ivoire manager, to conduct a needs assessment of 21 villages for the next round of support.
